We are part of the global Fibershed network, which originated in California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fibershed promotes regenerative farming and place-based textile production, and wants to connect consumers to producers via communication and education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to our vision in Finland<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The consumer has learnt to respect materials that are produced locally, respecting the climate and the soil, and bringing a livelihood to local producers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Local fiber processing and textile manufacuring has returned, enabling soil so cloth production chains being formed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The traditional skills are thriving, but also new innovations are welcome in both agriculture and textile technologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fibershed Finland is a non-profit organisation that builds place-based networks of producers and users of natural fibers.
